How to Brew:

This Summer blend is crafter to be enjoyed either hot or cold. It is recommended that you follow these instructions to brew it, first, hot and then add ice or chill. By first brewing it hot, you are extracting as many of the essential oils, nutrients, and flavors as possible from the botanicals. If you brew it cold (i.e. as "Sun Tea") then you will not extract the full potency of the blend.

Measurement: 1 tbs of loose leaf tea per 8 oz. of boiling water (160 degrees F. recommended for best results)

Steep Time: 15 minutes with the top of the cup/tea pot covered to retain essential oils OR use a French Press for tea/coffee. If steeping in a cup or tea pot, use an infuser for best results.

Sweetener: Sweeten to preference while warm so that the sweetener dissolves completely. It is recommended that if you are sweetening with honey, do so when the tea has cooled to 100 degrees F. or cooler to retain the natural nutritional benefits of the honey.
