Seasonal Shift Collection: Autumn Bloom!
A Warm, Spiced Herbal Tea for Fall!
Welcome autumn with a cup of Autumn Bloom, a naturally caffeine-free loose-leaf herbal tea crafted around the warm flavors of the season. South African honeybush creates a naturally sweet, mellow base, complemented by freeze-dried figs, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, lemon balm, oat straw, and roasted chicory root.
The result is a beautifully balanced autumnal herbal tea with layers of ripe fig, warm baking spice, subtle herbal notes, and a gently roasted finish. Freeze-dried fig adds a delicate fruit character, while cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg bring the familiar warmth of an autumn kitchen. Lemon balm and oat straw round out the blend without overwhelming its naturally honeyed character.
As with every Petal & Herb blend, Autumn Bloom is a small-batch loose-leaf tea, blended with thoughtfully selected ingredients for a fresh, full-bodied cup. Enjoy it hot as the evenings grow cooler, or try it over ice for a different expression of its rich seasonal flavor.

Key Ingredients and Their Benefits:
Dried Fig: Naturally sweet and rich in naturally occurring antioxidants and minerals, figs have long been valued as a nourishing food. Their delicate fruit character brings a naturally mellow sweetness to this autumn-inspired blend.
Cinnamon: Warm, aromatic, and rich in naturally occurring plant compounds, cinnamon has been valued in culinary and traditional herbal practices for centuries. Its familiar spice adds comforting warmth and depth to the blend.
Nutmeg: Traditionally used as both a culinary spice and botanical, nutmeg brings a warm, distinctive aroma and has long been included in traditional preparations. Its rich, slightly sweet spice note completes the blend's classic autumn character.
Roasted Chicory Root: Naturally containing inulin, a prebiotic fiber, chicory root has a long history of use as both a food and traditional herbal ingredient. Its earthy, gently roasted character adds depth and body to the finished cup.
South African Honeybush: Naturally caffeine-free with a naturally sweet, honey-like flavor, honeybush provides a smooth foundation for the more aromatic botanicals in this blend. Traditionally enjoyed as a South African herbal infusion, it contributes naturally occurring polyphenols and gives Bloom & Balance its mellow sweetness.
How to Brew:
This Summer blend is crafted to be enjoyed either hot or cold. It is recommended that you follow these instructions to brew it, first, hot and then add ice or chill. By first brewing it hot, you are extracting as many of the essential oils, nutrients, and flavors as possible from the botanicals. If you brew it cold (i.e. as "Sun Tea") then you will not extract the full potency of the blend.
Measurement: 1 tbs of loose leaf tea per 8 oz. of boiling water (160 degrees F. recommended for best results)
Steep Time: 10 to 12 minutes with the top of the cup/tea pot covered to retain essential oils OR use a French Press for tea/coffee. If steeping in a cup or tea pot, use an infuser for best results.
Sweetener: Sweeten to preference while warm so that the sweetener dissolves completely. It is recommended that if you are sweetening with honey, do so when the tea has cooled to 100 degrees F. or cooler to retain the natural nutritional benefits of the honey.
